Cristy De La Rosa
LMFT-A, LCDC, ADHD-CCSP

Program Director

Cristy brings 15 years of passion and expertise in leadership, clinical program development, addiction and co-occurring mental health, family systems, treatment ethics, and team culture curation. She has held an array of roles in substance abuse treatment settings from Intensive Outpatient to Residential/Detox levels of care, including Executive Director, Clinical Director, Director of Operations and Compliance, IOP Director, Counselor, and Case Manager.
Cristy earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, with a minor in Psychology from the University of North Texas in 2007, and became a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in 2011. After years of treating individuals and their families for substance use and co-occurring disorders, she understood the incredible impact on families and the impact the family system has on the recovery process. In 2025, she graduated summa cum laude with a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University Worldwide. Most Recently, Cristy became an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider, professionally trained to treat ADHD & Executive Functioning Challenges. She brings this important skillset to the GCC team to support those who struggle with the skills necessary to fulfill their goals. Cristy’s personal experience as a client in treatment who once labeled herself as a “chronic relapser” is the underpinning of her deep seated appreciation for/and anchor to this work. Cristy is honored to join and work with individuals and families, as she gratefully connects the through line of her own experience, in which compassionate and hopeful providers held hope for her- even when she had none. Cristy spends her free time engaging in her favorite hobbies- she is a self-taught woodworker and leatherworker, who must create something with her hands to feel fulfilled and recharged. She loves spending quality time with close friends and family. She is also a very dedicated dog mom to two amazing rescue mutts, Mateo & Finn.
